Edutogether is an open social platform for education, learning and
knowledge.
Edutogether is an effort to
create a common podium for sharing knowledge. It’s a site where an individual
can look into his/her field of interest or contribute to his/her field of
interest. We believe in the fact that it is always a TEAM effort and we want
every member on this site to be a part of a team that believes in sharing
knowledge. We at edutogether are looking for students, teachers and learners to
seek and share knowledge using this platform.
Yes, you can be a part of
this team. All you need is to register yourself as a member using Signup option
on the Home page.

of few likeminded individuals who believe in sharing knowledge.
Yes, you can send us your
feedback using the Contact us Form page.
You can send us your
suggestions using the Contact us Page and we will let you know whether we can
make this happen for you or for everyone on this site.
Yes, you can use this
community in your university. All you need to do is create a “Community” for
your college/university and then contribute to that community as a moderator.
You can invite people to join this community.
Accounts
You can create your account
by registering yourself on the Signup option on the Home page.
You can send an email to the
Site Administrator using Contact us Form page to disable your account. This can
take 24-48 hours to come into effect.
Communities
A
community is a social group of individuals sharing
an environment, normally with shared
interests.
You can browse for available
communities and can join the community that meets your interests. If you wish
to start your own community, you can do so by creating your community. Refer to
User guide section for more details.
Friends
You can look in for people
of similar interests using the Browse option in the Search bar. To add a user
as a friend, click the 'friend' button underneath a user's icon OR you can send
an invite to your friends to join this community website.
A friend can be a user who
is known to you in person or who shares similar interests or who has a similar
query in a particular field as you are having or who wants to learn about a
common field of interest.
Customize
Yes you can customize your
e-portfolio by clicking on the “My Settings” tab and there you can specify/edit
various options for your profile.
You can specify whether your
postings as Public/Private on the Comment wall.
Digital Repository
You might have reached the
maximum limit on your account. Write to the site administrator (using Contact
Us form page) to check the disk space usage on your account.
You can go to “My files”
section on the main login page and then can select on Edit/Delete the
respective files/folders in your repository.
While uploading a file, the
owner can specify the access privilege on that document. The owner can specify
whether that particular file is for Private or Public use or is it to be shared
within the community or is it visible to his friends only. Based on the access
privilege, you can search for a file.
Access privileges
As a user, you can create
blogs and communities. You can modify content in your blogs and communities.
You have a repository available for you in this site where you can upload /
modify your files. You can search for friends/ people with similar interests in
this site. Also, you can join a community that meets your interests.
You can do the same by going
to “My Settings” tab on your main page and then selecting the desired level of
access for that element on your e-portfolio.
